I still remember the poem I wrote when I was nine years old and the discovery of the miracle that comes in putting together words. I loved the feeling the words gave me and I took advantage of every chance I had to recite that poem.  I still remember it. As an adult, writing books for children that bring beauty, humor, and wonder into their lives is both a passion and a joy.
